Cisco: Social Expansion Strategy

To bring together dozens of disparate social handles across the Cisco portfolio with disconnected messaging, teams, processes, and no way of tracking.

Strategy

Starting with Cisco Meraki social handles, I went deep on who was following us (IT / tech professionals), what posts were performing (videos, humor, people, products), which channels we should be on (LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube), and how competitors were showing up (a lot more frequently than we were). Then I evolved the social platform strategy, content creation process, and agency and in-house teams, stepping it up on the right handles and retiring the ones that needed it.
